For Members

  • Summer Conference is members-only with member presentations. The Winter Conference is a vendor conference and includes an exhibit hall and vendor presentations.
  • Conferences are busy – so don’t expect to have a lot of time to site-see or do activities outside the conference from Tues night through Friday noon.
  • Families are welcome and spouses are welcome at the socials and dinners (with guest payment), but again, there won’t be a lot of extra time for hanging out with the families.
  • Conferences are business casual, folks don’t dress formally, so plan to be comfortable (but presentable).
  • Conferences include an OAGITM Business Meeting which all members are encouraged to attend. This is an opportunity to provide feedback on the conference and organization, vote on items of import to the membership, and give input on locations, topics, and vendors you’d like to see at future conferences.
  • Summer conferences generally include a RoundTable session where each member organization is given a few minutes to talk about the technology projects they have recently done, are currently working on, or have planned for the near future and learn about what everyone else is doing. Come prepared to speak very briefly on what’s happening in your organization.
  • Don’t forget to bring your business cards and come prepared to network!

For Sponsors/Exhibitors

  • Summer conferences are members only
  • Winter conferences are vendor conferences and are friendly, busy, high-contact events.
  • Membership values peer networking time but come to the winter conferences prepared to network with vendors and learn about new technologies and trends, so vendors should find a receptive and welcoming environment.
  • Vendors are welcome to attend any of the Wed/Thurs presentation sessions, but if space is tight, please ensure that members have first dibs on available seats.
  • Vendor registration includes social hours and meals, which are the primary opportunities to meet and network with members.
